FRAMEWORK DOWNLOAD

You must have MICROSOFT.NET Version 2.0 on your computer for "The Guide" to function properly.

If you are unsure weather or not you have the 2.0 version of Microsoft .NET follow the instructions below:

1> Go to your Control panel

2> Click on the "ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS"

3> Look for "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 "

If you do not have "Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 " or have an earlier version, please click
on the link below and after doing so install The Guide in the area of your choice by clicking
on the area book icon located on the previous page.

Microsoft .NET is a non invasive program file that will allow applications that are
developed using the .NET framework to function properly.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Click on the icon of the area book which you would like to view. You will get a message asking if you want to "Run" or "Save" the file, click on "run" to begin the download process. If a security message appears click on "Run". After the download process is complete an icon will be place on your desktop that contains the area name followed by the word "Internet". Double click on that icon and you are now ready to explore the directory!

INSTALLING ON A SERVER

Install The Guide on your server. Go to each workstation and find "InstallMagicCarpetViewer" on the server. Do not move this program to the individual workstations, rather double click on it via Windows Explorer on their workstation. This will install the icon on the local machine. The Icon will be directed to the local computer and will need to be re-routed to the server. To do this:

Right Click on the icon on the work stations' desktop, to to "properties". You will need to set the Target to the CD location on the server and the start in to the server location. (see illustrations below)
